Understanding Your Dashboard

When you log in for the first time, your workspace will display a clean, empty dashboard. As you begin adding infrastructure components, this hub will automatically populate with real-time health metrics, active incidents, and shortcuts.

Here is the structural anatomy of your Veyon workspace:

The Sidebar Menu

Located on the left side of the screen, the sidebar serves as your primary navigation terminal:

  • Dashboard: Returns you to this main summary screen at any time.
  • Monitors: Create, Access and configure your Website, Domain, SSL, API, and Server checks.
  • Status pages: Design and customize public-facing system status walls.
  • Incidents: View historical logs, active triggers, and resolution times.
  • Analytics: Create & Access your lightweight, cookie-free visitor tracking websites & metrics.
  • SEO Performance: Create & Review technical SEO audit scores and optimizations.
  • Tools: Quick access to the 30+ developer web utilities (minifiers, lookups, generators, etc).
  • Usage Limits & Account (Bottom): Displays your current active monitor count against your plan limits, alongside your profile details and logout option.

The Top Workspace Bar

  • Workspace Selector: Displays your active workspace name (e.g., Veyon Demo) and current subscription plan level.
  • + New monitor: The primary action button used to quickly launch a new website, server, or API check from anywhere in the app.

The Overview Panels

The upper half of the dashboard aggregates critical real-time infrastructure data:

The Activity Feed

The bottom of the dashboard features a split-screen view designed for real-time triage:

  • Latest monitors: Displays a quick list of your added domains, accompanied by live color-coded status indicators showing exactly what is healthy or experiencing issues.
  • Latest incidents: A chronological stream detailing recent downtime events, including structural error messages (such as cURL error 28: Connection timed out) to let you debug instantly.
